Save the date for the first-ever Laclede County Farm-to-Table Agribusiness Brunch, which will be held on Wednesday, October 2, beginning at 10:45 a.m. at The Exchange at Wall Street Cattle Company, 14900 State Hwy KK, Lebanon, MO 65536. This inaugural event is part of Laclede County Commission Agriconomy Week 2024. It is designed to provide valuable insights from industry leaders on advancing infrastructure and economies within the farming, fishing, and forestry sectors while spotlighting local food sources.
The menu will feature a variety of dishes created by Wall Street Cattle Company's award-winning Chef, each a delicious and unique creation made from locally sourced ingredients. You will experience delectable food while industry experts update you on optimizing your agriculturally focused businesses to increase your bottom line and enhance Laclede County's economy. MU Extension will also be present to provide important information on agriculture and economic initiatives in Laclede County.
The Agribusiness Brunch is perfect for area farmers, farm supporters, hobby farmers, future farmers, cooperative farming groups, or other stakeholders interested in growing their businesses and the Laclede County economy. The roster of speakers and a full agenda will be announced in August.
Seating is limited, and registration is required in advance. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Laclede County 4-H and FFA Youth.

Jennifer Kliethermes is part of the Domestic and International Marketing Program with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and is dedicated to assisting Missouri businesses in their growth and prosperity. Hailing from Linn, Missouri, Jennifer has a strong background in agriculture and has worked with the Missouri Department of Agriculture for many years.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in food science from the University of Missouri and honed her passion for wine while working in California for five years before returning to her current position.
TaylorAnn Washburn is a communications and program strategist with the University of Missouri Extension, where she supports Missouri’s agriculture industry through marketing and communication strategy development and execution. Washburn also supports the state’s value-added producers by offering marketing-focused technical assistance as part of the Missouri Agriculture, Food, and Forestry Innovation Center (MAFFIC). Before joining the university, she led digital strategy and client multimedia marketing for Brownfield Ag News/LEARFIELD.
Washburn is a northwest Missouri native who holds a B.S. in agricultural journalism from the University of Missouri and an M.S. in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University.
